Boarding
Your horse will enjoy 12 x 12 or 12 x 24 stalls with rubber floor mats with swift pick shavings with individual fans during the summer. Each stall is double lined and has a dutch door leading outside. All occupied stalls are cleaned once daily.
Please contact Lesley Richards for a copy of our boarding agreement or to arrange a time to come visit Raven Ridge.

We welcome visitors any time and would love to show you around the farm.

The Stalls
Feeding
Raven Ridge offers a variety of quality feeds and hays. For those owners who choose to provide additional supplements, we feed these extras at no additional charge (up to three supplements).
Every horse on the farm receives daily turnout unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian. In the winter, the horses are turned out in the AM and stalled in the PM and in the summer months, the horses are turned out in the PM and stalled in the AM. Each turnout pasture has it's own individual watering trough and run-in shelter. We offer two individual turn out paddocks that can be used for an additional charge.
Daily Turnout
Blanketing
We blanket horses upon owners reasonable request for an additional $25.00 per month (provided the horse will stand quitely for blanketing and is easily caught). If the owner provides a blanket, we will blanket the horse if it is under 55 degrees and raining or under 45 degrees and dry. Blanketing changes will not be available during the day or night. Blankets will be changed during the AM and PM feeding times only.
Bedding
We provide "swift pick" wood shavings in all stalls at no extra charge. Owners may request a different type of bedding such as pelleted or straw. If we can accomodate this change, an extra fee will be charged.
Farrier/Vet Visits
Our owners can be put on the barn farrier's schedule (Joey Height) or can bring in an outside farrier. It is mandatory that all residents of Raven Ridge Equestrian Center receive routine farrier and veterinary care.

We have a barn veterinarian that comes out twice a year for exams and vaccinations. Our horse owners can be placed on the veterinarian's schedule or can bring in an outside veterinarian. All horses on the property must be vaccinated at or around the same time of the year as the other horses.

If an outside vet or farrier is brought in and the owner cannot meet with them, we can meet them at the barn if scheduled with us well in advance for a small fee.
